Pivot
The pivot entrance door is a design forward entrance door that rotates on a pivot point rather than traditionally swinging when opened and closed. Ideal for larger openings, these doors are engineered to taller and wider sizes resulting in the unbounded spatial impact of a single door. Our pivot entrance door is available in all wood and thermally broken aluminum clad, can resist hurricanes with outswing and inswing operation, features award winning hidden pivot hinges, and includes a patent pending fully recessed flush sill installation option.
Multi-Purpose Weather Performance Sill
Our patent pending Multi-Purpose Weather Performance Sill can be installed surface mounted, partially recessed to accommodate varying inside and outside finish floor heights, and fully recessed into the floor for a clean uninterrupted transition from outside to inside. Our sill design provides an engineered water management system that allows any potential water collected by the still to weep out or run via drainage tubing. For partial and fully recessed sill installations, drainage fittings and tubing are included for water to drain to your desired location.
Hidden Pivot Hinge
Our pivot entrance door features award-winning FritsJurgens pivot hinge systems that align function and experience with absolute control over the movement of your door. These pivot hinge systems are adjustable, can include control functions such as hold positions, soft-opening, and self-closing, and have a maximum weight capacity of 500 kg (1,100 lbs). The pivot hinges are integrated into the top and bottom of our natural wood front door and are therefore unseen. The result is hidden perfection.
Hurricane Impact Approved
Our pivot front doors are hurricane impact approved and water infiltration approved at a maximum size of 11’ tall and 6’ wide – one of the largest hurricane impact approved pivot doors on the market. Our pivot front door has exceeded Florida’s most rigorous hurricane impact testing standards for air, water, and structural performance with design pressure ratings compliant with High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) requirements. This natural wood front door not only fulfills code requirements for Miami-Dade and Broward County but guarantees the safety and security of any residential or commercial opening.
